Required Skills: |
High School education or equivalent required. A minimum of 6 months previous manufacturing experience preferably in similar molding environment desired. Must have good manual dexterity and keen visual acuity . Follows oral and written instructions. This work is performed around molding equipment which give off heat, noise and odor. This job will involve lifting up to 11 lbs. and repetitive motion. Job duties require working with and around chemicals. Work is performed in standing and sitting positions and numerous other physical movements are required. Scheduled overtime may be required. This is a US ITAR facility - Applicants must be US citizens or permanent legal residents. |

Job Description: |
Operates molded equipment that has been set-up and made operative. Performs hand loading and automatic loading of contacts and inserts, and performS secondary operations such as pin straightening and rework. This work requires knowledge of the procedures and techniques used in loading and operating injection and transfer molding machines. Faulty or careless operation of equipment may cause damage to it and injury to self or others. Failure to follow correct procedures may result in loss of time, duplication of work, and excessive scrap. May make minor adjustments of press heat and pressure. Will be responsible for work coming from each assigned work station.Follows all ISO 9001 and AS 9100 work instructions and general department procedures. Keep facilities, materials and work area clean and organized, exercising care in their use. Use safety practices and takes prompt action to correct problems. Assists co-workers when necessary to meet work unit goals. Actively seeks continuous process improvement. Performs other duties as required and may be used in other areas and departments of manufacturing as workload dictate. Refer to ID 01481700 when applying |
