Job Description: |
Class B Turret Operator II. Job Summary Skilled Turret Operator - must be able to safely and efficiently perform moderate to difficult duties in turret area taking into account proper lifting/bending techniques. Operator must be pro-active in utilizing provided equipment to optimize ergonomics and minimize excessive twisting, bending and possible strains. The Class B Turret Operator must have all of the skill sets required of a Class C & D Operator. III. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Must be able to set-up, trouble shoot, make adjustments, and repair defective set-ups, with the help of a Die Setter or Class A Operator. Can use QC equipment to check quality of production work. IV. Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Working knowledge of Quality Control procedures to check production parts. V.Reporting Relationships Must be open to accepting comments and constructive criticism from co-workers in higher classifications, but get instruction from lead person and supervisor. A Class B Operator will assist operators lower in classification when requested to do so by the shift lead or supervisor. |
